Soshin Electric develops various types of filters, capacitors and other electronic components using its core technologies of "materials and process development technology," "circuit design technology," and "equipment development technology," and provides customized products tailored to customer needs, focusing on the power electronics and information and communications businesses. Electronic components are essential for us to live safe, secure, and comfortable lives, and their role will continue to grow in the future. We will continue to contribute to the development of society and people's lives by supplying high-performance electronic components that meet the needs of the times and the expectations of our customers.

Power Electronics Business

We develop, manufacture and sell noise filters and power supply film capacitors as products to combat electromagnetic noise generated by industrial machinery such as semiconductor manufacturing equipment and machine tools, medical equipment (MRI, CT, etc.), railways, and other markets.

Electromagnetic noise generated by inverters, which are essential for energy conservation in various industrial equipment, can cause radio interference and malfunction of other equipment. As a total solution business for such problems, Soshin Electric conducts noise measurement and diagnosis to identify the source and route of electromagnetic noise, and further develops and supplies noise filters to prevent the generation and effects of electromagnetic noise, thereby developing a business to solve customers' electromagnetic noise problems.

Soshin Electric's Asama Factory (Saku-shi, Nagano) is equipped with a 10m large anechoic chamber called the "Asama Test Lab," which allows for highly accurate measurement of electromagnetic noise generated by customers' devices. For large devices that cannot be brought into the anechoic chamber, we offer flexible support, such as on-site testing using our "noise measurement diagnostic vehicles," which have been installed in three locations across the country.

Information and Communications Business

We develop, manufacture and sell high-frequency components such as laminated dielectric filters and couplers, thick-film printed circuit boards, etc. for the wireless LAN and Bluetooth communication modules installed in smartphones and PCs, communication base stations that connect mobile devices, and PC markets. In addition, we manufacture and sell mounted products and mica capacitors for the automotive and railway signal markets.

Our main product in the information and communications business, the laminated dielectric filter, was developed by combining superior ceramic materials jointly developed with a major ceramic manufacturer with Soshin Electric's proprietary process development technology and high-frequency circuit design technology. It contributes to the miniaturization and high performance of mobile communication systems and information and communications devices, which continue to evolve without stopping.

We are also developing new products for Wi-Fi 6, the new wireless LAN standard, and new products compatible with the fifth-generation mobile communications system (5G), which will enable high-speed, large-capacity communications. We are providing the world with high-performance electronic components that support innovations in information and communications, such as making electronic components smaller and lighter, and transmitting high-quality images.
