December 1938 Soshin Electric manufacturing is established in Tokyo and manufacturing and sales of mica capacitors begin.
April 1944 The company is incorporated as a joint-stock company and renamed Soshin Electric Co., Ltd.
December 1969 Miyazaki Soshin Electric is established, expanding the development and production of plastic film capacitors.
July 1982 The current Chikuma Plant is established in Saku-shi, Nagano and full-scale production of hybrid ICs begins.
April 1984 EMI filters for electromagnetic wave countermeasures is developed and manufacturing and sales begin.
November 1985 Asama Plant is established in Saku-shi, Nagano.
October 1989 Soshin Electronics (M) is established in Malaysia as a manufacturing base.
September 1991 NGK becomes our top shareholder and begins collaboration.
March 1993 The Asama Testing Lab., an anechoic chamber, is opened and contracting of noise measurement and diagnosis, and countermeasures operations begins.
December 1993 Manufacturing and sales of multilayered dielectric filters begin.
July 1996 Soshin Electronics of America is established in the United States to strengthen sales activities in North America.
November 2002 The Company is listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
April 2009 Soshin Device is established in Miyazaki-shi, Miyazaki.
April 2010 Soshin Powertech is established in Miyakonojo-shi, Miyazaki.
April 2010 Soshin Electronics (SZ) is established in China to expand sales in the Chinese market.
April 2016 Capital and business alliance with Ueno, a noise filter coil manufacturer.
January 2021 The Company becomes a group company of WALSIN TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION and starts collaboration.
July 2024 Sosin Electric becomes a wholly owned by Kamaya Electric and is delisted from the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
